According to a moderator on CNET’s forums, MapVisitors does not work with Seamonkey and AdBlockPlus, see thread –

Jonathan’s house burned a few days ago, it’s not a total structural loss but he is not sure how they will get the burnt plastic smell out of the walls.

Jon added a pop-up on each pushpin that gives more information about the visitor at that Pushpin. The information includes City, State, Time, and exact Latitude / Longitude.
I think Jon did not include IP address so as not to give away any “personal” information about the visitors.

Jon - our programmer extraordinaire - has changed the code so that it is using Microsoft’s built-in Virtual Earth IP / Wifi Lookup to determine the latitude longitude and it will now fall back and use http://api.hostip.info only when it does not find the lat/lon from Virtual Earth.

What is this? When MapVisitors does not detect a referrer, it will default to showing visitors to MapVisitors, and not some other web site. This will happen when a visit is made directly to mapvisitors instead of clicking from another web site. It may also happen because of certain firewall settings.
