Jonathan’s house burned a few days ago, it’s not a total structural loss but he is not sure how they will get the burnt plastic smell out of the walls.

Despite the way it is written up in the paper ( Columbia Missourian ) Jon thinks he put out the candles and also mentioned some strange circumstances such as a mattress leaned vertically against the wall. Jon says that there is in fact an arson in his neighborhood. Perhaps I shouldn’t be mentioning this in case the police are investigating and don’t want to tip off the MF.

Besides Jon’s lost property (TV, clothes, etc.) also lost were a collection of DVD’s I had loaned to him including Pushing Tin, United 93, Kinsey, Billy Elliot, Three Kings, City Hall, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. No big loss, not like I was going to watch them again anyway.
