Here is a mini-tutorial for placing the MapVisitors button on your site.
First you need to get to a place where you can insert some html code on your site. This is critical as our button uses html. The html code is very simple and only loads i.e. gets transmitted to your visitor, there is no CPU or processing load on your web server or host.
Ideally you will find a place where you can put the html code so that it appears on all of the pages on your site. In this way the application will record visitors to each page on your site. Otherwise if it is only on the home pages, then it would only record page views that occur on your home page.
Tyically the place to put it would be in the footer section at the bottom of your site although other popular places also include the left or right side bar.
See the home page of www.mapvisitors.com and look in the bottom center for the code snippet to insert onto your web site.
Have fun and leave a comment to let us know how it goes and leave a link to your site so we can see it!
